to multiply by	Trick
2	add the number to itself (example 2×9 = 9+9)
5	the last digit goes 5, 0, 5, 0, ...

9	the last digit goes 9, 8, 7, 6, ... your hands can help! Example: to multiply 9 by 8, hold your 8th finger down, and count "7" and "2", the answer is 72

	when you add the answer's digits together, you get 9. Example: 9×5=45 and 4+5=9. (But not with 9×11=99)

	for 10x11 to 18x11: write the sum of the digits between the digits Example: 15x11 = 1(1+5)5 = 165 Note: this works for any two-digit number, but when the sum of the digits is more than 9, we need to"carry the one". Example: 75x11 = 7(7+5)5 = 7(12)5 = 825.

Multiplying by Powers of 5

There are times in life when you just get lucky. It turns out that one of those lucky little moments occurs each and every time you need to multiply one number by another number that happens to be a power of 5. For example, let's say you need to find 36 x 5 (which, of course, fits the bill since 5 is the first power of 5). The trick is to recognize the fact that 5 = 10 / 2. Why is that helpful? Because it means that we can find 36 x 5 by instead finding 36 x 10 (which is easy) and then dividing the result by 2. In this case, 36 x 10 = 360, and 360 / 2 = 180. Impressively speedy, right?

But we're not done! What if we instead need to solve the problem 36 x 25? Well, this trick is all about multiplying by powers of 5…and 25 = 5^2 is certainly that. So how does it work in this case? The trick here is to recognize that 25 = 100 / 4. And in general, the trick with powers of 5 is to recognize that they are always some multiple of 10 divided by an integer. This tells us that 36 x 25 = 36 x 100 / 4. Since we can quickly figure out that 36 x 100 = 3,600, it's easy to find that 36 x 25 = 3,600 / 4 = 900.

convert percentage to the decimals and fraction

Percentage is a rate, number, or amount in each hundred and it is write like this: 90%if you have got 95/100 and you want to convert it to the decimals you have to divide top number by the denominator to get the decimal number in this case going to be 0.95 but we can have other example like:  9/10= 0.9 or 5/25= 0.2 If you want to write 90% or 0.9 as a fraction you have to write it in the same way as 90/100 and than you need to simplify it like this 90/100= 9/10 we can have other examples like: 33/99= 11/33 and this is = 1/3
